Cara and Beoga

Cara rooted in Irish and Scottish traditional music has been touring extensively throughout Europe including France, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK and never fail to inspire their audience. The band weaves flute, guitar, piano, fiddle, pipes, and concertina together with the brilliant vocals, working the Irish music with just a touch of the German folk influence to keep a different perspective on the music.
Beoga have become one of the most popular and influential ensembles in modern Irish music. Wall Street Journal dubs them “the most exciting new traditional band to emerge from Ireland this century.” Irish Music magazine enthuses “In Beoga, the irish music world found another prodigy – madcap genius, master craftsmen.” Formed in 2020, Beoga (irish work for “lively”) are based in CountyAntrim, in the north of Ireland. Their unique sound features the twin dueling accordians of Damian McKee and Multi-instrumentalist Sean Og Graham, pianist Liam Bradley and four times All-Ireland bodhran champion Eamon Murray. The lineup is completed by Niamh Dunne, one of Ireland’s premiere young talents on vocals and fiddle.
