Strand Theater Ensemble Presents
Forever Plaid
Can’t get to New York City? Come see
Ocean County’s own JERSEY BOYS in FOREVER PLAID!
FOREVER PLAID
is an affectionate musical homage to
the close-harmony ‘guy groups’ that reached the height of their
popularity during the 1950s. One of the most popular and successful
musicals in recent memory, this deliciously goofy revue centers on four
male singers killed in a car crash in1964 on the way to their first big
gig, and now miraculously revived for the posthumous chance to fulfill
their dreams and perform the show that never was.
Musical favorites include
"Three Coins in the Fountain,"
"Gotta Be This or That,"
"Moments to Remember,"
"No, Not Much,"
"Perfidia,"
"Rags to Riches,"
"Love is a Many-Splendored Thing"
and many more!
“Letter-perfect! Sweet, funny and
thoroughly amusing!” - Stephen Holden, The New York
Times
“Terrific! Exhilarating stuff. Great
fun. The happiest show in town."
