is proud to announce that Robert Klein will be appearing on November 7, 2009 at 8:00 pm at the beautiful, historic Strand Theater. With 30 plus years in the comedy business, Robert Klein is sure to make you laugh every time!  Most recently starring with Adam Sandler in Reign Over Me (2007) actor and comedian Robert Klein has made his mark on stand-up comedy with his dry, observational style.  Twenty-five years after he debuted his hilarious take on his generation’s cultural touchstones with the album Child of the Fifties, echoes of Klein could be heard in all the top comics of the day, most notably Jerry Seinfeld.  Klein was acclaimed for his work in Broadway musicals and appeared in multiple films and TV shows.  Always steadily performing stand-up throughout his life, Klein gained popularity in 2005 when he recorded the HBO special “The Amorous Busboy of Decatur Avenue: A Child of the Fifties Looks Back.”  Visit our website, www.strand.org t o make your ticket reservations online or call the box office at 732 367 7789, M-F, 12 pm to 5 pm.  Tickets: $50 Orch/Loge; $40 Mezz; $30 Tier, plus service charge.
